I may have found my new gamebreaking issue with using #linux.
A possible (though I'm not sure how to determine for sure) AMD GPU driver issue causes Restitched to flicker horrufyingly bad in levels with more than a few meshes loaded in them. None of us at Trixel Creative know why, but I tested on both xorg and xwayland, the exact same flickering happens.
.... Yay....!

@npub1a74…u9xf Lol. Only reason I bought a GPU was because I was selling my NVIDIA cards so I could use Wayland without wanting to die. I was able to sell both my cards for as much as I bought the new one for. Otherwise I wouldn't have done that.
It's just annoying that they locked my card for ordering a pizza and the only way to get it unlocked is to call. Can't even go in person to a branch, apparently. Otherwise I'd walk there this monday, all the tellers know I'm blind.

@npub1a74…u9xf That's my go-to. I did try calling while using it. But I don't think the call audio was being routed through, and my bank hung up on me before I could troubleshoot it. Managed to get as far as enabling speaker phone before they yeeted the line into west hyperspace.

Would be really nice if I could make phone calls over #kde Connect right about now. Need to call my bank but can't read my phone's dial pad, and would very much like to be able to use my PC headset and have access to Bitwarden during the call.

@npub183n…tahh Just ssh'd into my Ubuntu server, I'm in the sudo group but not the wheel group. That's the debianism. Though the group isn't called sudoers. Are they perhaps referring to /etc/sudoers (the file)?

@npub183n…tahh solution: become blind, that way you literally can't focus on the guy hating what you're doing because you need to direct all eyesight and mental energy toward just doing the thing you're doing
