I do certainly hope that now that Bluesky has definitively taken the Twitter-successor crown, that hopefully Mastodon's developers will stop trying to chase mainstream appeal and instead focus on improving the software for people that like it the way it is.

unfortunately I think the Palestinian flag is the one that's been edited in, I can't find any alternative angles of it online. It's a shame too because that sort of international solidarity would really unite people.
