I guess as a pleb I’m trying to understand that if bitcoin could have just been destroyed this whole time by a core update than it’s not anti-fragile.
It doesn’t make sense to me how code can just make an update and turn it to a shitcoin without us just forking.

Today I wanted to give my feedback on this election.
This will become the fourth election since 2000 that the results will end up in question.
As Bitcoiners we know that the core of the system problems lay at the problem of broken money. If that’s the case then everything that happens on top of that a mirage.
Before someone replies with this candidate is better for bitcoin and this candidate is against hate speech. I want to give a story about how complex markets are.
Some years ago Nike gave 1 million shoes to people in Africa, great right?
Well doing this caused the market of shoemakers to collapse, once the Nikes wore out people had nowhere to buy shoes and the initial problem got worse.
The point of this story is to show no matter how convinced you are that your decision on an election is correct, the collective variables of the world/market will still be a larger force.

I find repetition feels like the best way to learn something. For me I can listen to @npub1s05…eyhe say the same thing over and over and it ingrains deeper into my brain. Not because he’s some sort of guru, but because what he says can’t be attacked no matter how hard we try.

I don’t like the arrogance of the saying “have fun staying poor” there existed a time we didn’t understand this. I don’t want to world to burn so my bags get filled. To me bitcoin a rising tide that lifts all boats.
We began a podcast we plan to release in January on this ethos.

I too enter the space from the progressive side, bitcoin is not tethered to any political ideology. It’s akin to aliens giving us something that makes all previous ideologies obsolete. Before one lists libertarian principles with bitcoin, ask yourself this question. If bitcoin causes prices to fall forever because of the gains of technology which get passed to all of society that in itself is a left leaning principle. Bitcoin is the best of all principles because it anchors money, once you do that all previous ideologies get thrown out the window.
