Only a couple of inches in the Lincoln area. But it was heavy enough to bend the net fencing over. A few of the alpacas decided they had to eat from the bales on the other side of the gate. I did not want to start my day herding cats, I mean alpacas.

The distressing thing for me is that I tend to make a lot of typos.

Under the cover of night and a light snow two trucks with trailers met in the middle of a sleepy town. Livestock was exchanged while a lone car drove slowly by. Two alpacas begin their journey west and three llamas are a few short miles from the end of their travels.

Alpacas have long and very strong necks. Combined with a long body and 4 strong legs they have a lot of leverage over the two legged handlers. Once their head and neck are on the ground along with the handler the handler now can use height (length) and weight as leverage, allowing another handler to halter and attache a lead.
When there is no other handler, resolution of the situation becomes interesting.

The weather is going to be good for motorcycle riding for the next few days. 😃
- I've misplaced my key. The bike is newer and has an anti-theft chipped key. 😞
- new keys can not be made because of a chip shortage. 😠
