The only times it's broken for me (I think) has been between major versions, where something has changed. E.g. when they changed the out folder layout or the behaviour of `os.pwd`.
Then again, I'm probably not pushing it all that hard. I'm a simple guy with fairly simple requirements. 🤷

@nprofile…7glq I agree, discoverability is my biggest Mill complaint too.
On balance, I find I can live with it, but I'd love to see it get friendlier in this particular regard.

My preference order of #Scala build tools, for sometime, has been:
1. scala-cli
2. Mill
3. sbt
I upgrade as the need arises. The needs being:
1. I need something I can make in one module.
2. I need more modules, and I need plugins and I need code generation.
3. I need my employers to pay me.*
(* I have deep respect for sbt, it's brought us a long way, looking forward to v2! 🙏 )

I think I need something less fancy than giter8. Being able to set all the versions and the titles and stuff is all very well, but what I really need is a project templating system where you just get to pick a project template. "Mill or sbt? Project flavor? Ok, it's this one, I'll leave the renaming to you."

Copilot seems tuned for vibe coders.
If you're doing obvious, mechanical updates then it's worth its weight in gold.
...but if you're actually trying to _think_, then it's a total pain in the ass.
There must be some way to configure it so that it only makes suggestions when it looks like you're stuck (or on request). 🤔

I appreciate the scale and reach and reliability of sonatype.. but the lack of apparent alternatives, and to some extent the release process itself, makes me nervous. And then they end of life it. 😄

Additionally, last year all our libs moved to a new documentation approach that will hopefully be much more maintainable. Indigo is a work in progress (owing to the volume of content), but all libs now have 'working-example-driven-docs', e.g.:

Indigo's UI system is dead. Long live the UI system!
The UI system released last month did not survive first contact with the real world, and has been overhauled.
New releases of all Purple Kingdom Games #Scala libs, containing the revised UI and many other improvements, are now available.

I hear the 'no Discord for OSS' argument, I do.
...but currently, there is no a better alternative for live discussion. There isn't even a worse alternative that a critical mass of people actually want to use... is there?
