@npub1ht0…dyc3 I remember buying games on a (or many) floppy disks... and even remember buying games on cassette tapes!
for the floppy disks at least, I remember getting a computer magazine in which was a mail order page of all the games you could buy. we'd buy one, then wait a week or so for it to arrive.
good old days.

nope, it was a perfectly up to date pfSense firewall.
this was some security testing system, can't remember the name, but pretty sure it started with an N
the company who did the tested now use something else and it's been fine since

@npub1q5c…tdyq @npub1l3g…vu48 @npub1ykv…ey6z I tried it out when it was its previous name - it very much is too glamorous and JS heavy for my liking too.
I even compiled my own instance of it to test - can't remember what the node modules size came out at but it was over 14GB for the build, crazy! I suspect most people building it would be node.js people anyway so a lot of those modules are already installed. I'm not a node.js person, so everything downloaded as new - it's too much!
(My Pleroma builds at under 1GB for reference, and compiles to about 400MB)

what about all the other alternative YT front ends that are around which will grow to fit into the invidious shaped gap if it does end up ceasing (well... just try it YT, individous is not just one instance... you foooools!)

Just a quick observation - it looks as if when switching, the view goes to first-person mode on the same camera angle. i.e. the person was looking towards the camera, but when switched to first person the camera still looks the same direction rather than to what the person would have been looking at (should be looking at the wall)
That's only on Third-to-First though, First-to-Third looks fine
