yeah, but without UART you're out of luck. Friend of mine gave me HTC 10 (htc-pme) to mainline, but warned me that I'm not allowed to open the phone to solder UART and can't find any other used ones so I stopped working on mainline bringup as I couldn't debug the panel initialization without access to serial console :(
(if someone has HTC 10 in any condition and is willing to part with it, lmk!)

That's not Framework's fault, I've seen it happen on MacBooks and other higher-end machines (like ThinkPads) as well. Curiously enough, I haven't seen that happen on Chromebooks and I'm not treating my eldrid well...

Then yup, there's at least some support for that one. I have A1398 (2015 15in with i7-4770HQ, 16GB, iGPU) and would love to port coreboot to it, but can't find flex breakout board for that header.
It's pretty nice because you can add EFI drivers to EDK2, and keep DSMOS string from SMC, allowing you to boot macOS without OpenCore or other hackery

Yeah, problem is that every platform is different. I suspect you have IvyBridge one though, as there's some code for that on gerrit.
I did confirm that none of x86 MacBooks used BootGuard (at least until T2 rolled along), so all Apple's x86 (non-T2) machines should be coreboot-able, just need quite a bit of work (but thanks to schematics/boardviews available, it would be fairly trivial to get all power management and everything working correctly).

Is that A1398?
You should have a debug header allowing you to access memory-mapped UART from EC(SMC) and SPI.
You can use EDK2 as payload to get UEFI-like experience (and it will be much better than Apple's sorry excuse of x86 firmware), though coreboot on ARM64 will need a lot more work (referring to @npub1jdw…mdn3 's mention).
Wish I could be there, I really need to get a passport.

Yeah, but it took half a year to find it, and I got it only on recommendation. There are roughly 200 people interested in single apartment according to agencies - no matter how shit it is.
And that's even with fairly good salary (3k/m), imagine how hard it has to be for people earning less (outside of IT etc)...
Still, Berlin is a capital city after all. I wouldn't be surprised if you had to pay ~1500/month for ~20sqm
