Do you mean what US election folk call undervoting, submitting a ballot but with some or all selections blank?
It won't win any races, but close political watchers — including donors — do observe and notice these indicators of unpopularity. These messages will be received, especially when the volumes reflect a broad (and perhaps organized) electoral segment.

Something is not new to a (nominal) political journalist who looks for and is exposed to political information every day. Therefor the (nominal) journalist assumes everyone knows already, it is not new to anyone, hence it's irrelevant. The threshold for relevance is whether the (nominal) journalist personally finds it novel.
Is it a story that some of Biden's donor base are not happy with his positions on unions and anti-trust, and they're prepared to put their money behind a candidate friendlier to their own interests?

At sunset, when the moon becomes visible, it will be about 16 degrees above the horizon; Mercury will be below the moon. But the planet won't be really visible at all until about 9 p.m. (sunset on that day is at about 8:29 p.m. in New York; times are similar in cities such as Chicago or Sacramento) and by that time it will only be 8 degrees high, so from anywhere in mid-northern latitudes the conjunction will be a challenge to see – one will need a flat, unobstructed and clear horizon.
