My concerns going into this event were unfounded. It was very pro-Bitcoin. Guessing attendance was in the 120ish range. Highly recommend those in the Midwest attend future events. We're planning to go again next year. Smaller event = fewer but deeper connections. #bullish

Looking forward to spending time at Amplify 2024 today. This is not my comfort zone, pure-maxi, bitcoin-only event, e.g., BBB, TABConf, Unconferences. The event is focused on mining and energy but not all attendees are bitcoin-maxis. There's something about talking with people with challenging questions versus those are already in our bitcoin-maxi-bubble. IMHO, tough questions make you think which is like feedback for better learning which makes you stronger. For example, how do you orange pill someone who loves crypto? Throwing HFSP memes isn't effective.

I love the physical ledger! anything to make money more visible is great. we struggle with financial abstraction with our kids too If your kids are old enough to have their own phones it would cool to let them check on their sats, especially going out into a bull run another option is to build a simple spreadsheet to track and graph both fiat and bitcoin Add a "what if " column to show what the fiat would have been if you never moved to sats This helps visualize opportunity costs
