As if my triumphs at the gym weren't enough. I'm house for MIL at the moment and was gazing into the garden whilst having post gym breakfast this morning when I saw a fox. It's the first time I've ever seen a real, live fox and he was so handsome. He was super chilled and was just relaxing in the morning sunshine. #joy #nature

The other day, I was incredibly fortunate to witness the return of a seasonal visitor to our shores. Whilst it is a little early to catch a glimpse of these shy creatures, its presence does herald warmer weather. They can be identified by their bright plumage and distinctive mating call. As we move into summer, their young become independent, increasing their number before migrating to the southern hemisphere. #wildlife #raresight #summervibes

One of the things Husbeast and I talked about over dinners and chess this weekend was #knitting sweaters. After I left uni, I made sweaters and swatches. The swatches were easy because a 3rd party sold them for me but the sweaters were a little trickier. They're original #designs and (I think) well made but being #spoonie meant that selling them and finding retailers was just too much. He's suggested I try again by knitting them on nights. There's a lot to consider but maybe it's a YofS thing.

@npub1qjr…kgt0 I had a colleague with whom I had a disagreement. He went to the boss who watched the CCTV footage of the incident. There is no sound recorded but because on the footage, I can be seen using my hands and arms to emphasise points and he just stood still and shouted at me, I was deemed to be in the wrong. My body language was perceived to be more aggressive.

My day off today has been brutal. It started with me getting a massage and now I’m curled up on the sofa and an apple cake I’ve just removed from the oven is cooling. I’ve slept off the worst of my night shift and have been achieving jobs. There a load of washing on and I’ve had a restorative bath. I’ve made some phone calls and rearranged some appointments and it turns out the next few days are entirely my own. I’m curled up in the corner of the sofa and I’m going to tackle the Husbeast cardigan. I’ve got 6 hours until Husbeast gets home from work so that’s my goal.
