There are exchanges that will do Bill-payments for you. In Canada BullBitcoin has a massive list of payees. Billing company receives payment however they want, you pay in Bitcoin.

Remember when (less than 4 months ago) the US ETF's launched and Bitcoin dropped from ~$46k to sub $40k.
Now HK ETF's launch and we drop from ~$64k to at current $60k.
Probably just settling out the overhyped opening days.
Long term bullish.

You're missing my main question. I'm not looking to do anything sketchy like private sales or cash deals. I know about non KYC Bitcoin and markets with peer to peer meet ups. Not interested.
If I needed to sell now I'd go through an exchange and report the transaction.
I'm looking for legitimate ways to sell Bitcoin in the future. Maybe a tax loophole. Does anybody run it through a corporation somehow? Friend or family overseas and then back in dollars? 🤷🤷
People avoid tax in fiat world all the time. Surely someone smarter than me has figured out how to do it legally with Bitcoin self custody.
Or not. Maybe one day.

The private transaction bit though... You then either live off the cash or have a traceable transaction going in to your bank account. Enough of those would raise questions.
I guess cash can work, but only to a point. Recent example, new tires on a truck for $1500. Not very many businesses are going to accept cash for that.
I'm not at a point where I need or want to sell BTC, but for sure someday I will.

How do you opt out of the capital gains tax when selling Bitcoin?
Even using a bill (credit card) payment service I'd imagine might catch up one day. Bull Bitcoin in Canada as example I'm sure reports client transactions even if bill payment style.
I'm not huge fan of using robosats style services.

Grow things that can be can canned or stored through winter. Carrots and potatoes are easy. Freeze berries from forest or your own raspberry/strawberry patch. Learn to hunt deer for sausage etc.
Insane how big your garden and work load would have to be to support yourself even just 20% of needs through the year.
If you like doing anything else with your life, probably better off just to support your local growers and butchers honestly.
It's nice to have your own small garden for cooking fresh meals or salads, but think of it as a hobby.
Wife and I moved out of city into fairly remote mountain area 4 years ago with intention of having big garden and chickens. It's nice to have the option (space) of falling back on more self sufficiency if needed. But shit, we like playing in the mountains and on the water too much to bother growing and caring for our own food.
We keep it very small, no animals, and otherwise try to buy from actual farmers.

Payout minimum is 0.01BTC, which if you're running an S9 at half power would take like 45-50 months. 😂
Maybe with lightning I'll do it... Or with bigger miner. Contemplating replacing more electric heating sources in my house with an S19 or something similar.

BTC Sessions on YouTube has a very thorough walkthrough of the cryptocloaks build.
I didn't use the cryptocloaks case though. Just the fans from Amazon and I built a wood case.
The pool it goes through is Braiins, which also has a BraiinsOS+ operating system. Through that you can control the wattage and fan speeds.
Very happy with it, and pool rewards offset about an avg of 30% of electric bill at $0.14/KWh and $50k BTC... Canada $$

Interesting. I heat a bathroom with a modified S9, with Braiins pool.
Braiins dashboard gives me a few options to tune the miner and fan speeds.
I'd imagine that's probably possible with Ocean as well. Yeah?

I'm a very light user of the lightning network so don't really have an issue with custodial services.
I did however just move from WoS to Zeus with a GetAlby host. Pretty slick.
Maybe one day I go with a full private lightning node, but not yet.

What is Casa? I had a look through their site, but how does that service work? Is it simply a 'help line' to set up and recover multi-sig that you control yourself... Or do they somehow have a master back up in case you really screw up and lose all your signing devices?

S9 heater has been great so far. These are the settings that keep our large bathroom plenty warm, with no noise louder than the existing space heater we used to have in there.
12-14hrs a day.

I've spent some time in Las Cruces...2011-2013 si it's been a bit. NMSU there. I'm not much of a go to town and enjoy the nightlife kind of person, but I remember some nice restaurants and cafes.
