This will probably be my last post on #Mastodon.
Over the last few months I was constantly reminded why the #Fediverse is, in theory, a good idea and worthwhile to follow...
...but also why it practically might never work in the long run: People are constantly standing in each other's way of progress. Often people in charge, who'd rather encase themselves in bubbles rather than move even one inch forward.

Well now...they better make more of those, especially after THAT ending. What a crime of #Paramount to just give this show away to #Netflix #StarTrek

Without a doubt, the BEST #Godzilla movie I've ever seen and will (?) ever see!
What a wild ride...never seen a $15 million budget used so well. The best effect work I've seen in ages.
And this film WILL make you FEAR Godzilla! Never before has he been depicted as such a force of nature. You actually care more for the humans this time around.

Actually my second attempt to get through this schlockfest, because it's just terrible - enjoyably terrible, but terrible nonetheless.
Obvious flubs, errors, cheap effects, set design decisions, deliberately making wrong moves in order to get *any* response from the director to no avail...this film has it all. #movies

Anyone ever stopped and wondered how #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds features not one, but *two* characters initially played by the late #MajelBarrett, both of which never got any real development during their time, and now are finally getting what they deserve?
I think she would be proud to know. #StarTrek
