SCOTUS rules 8-1 that police can remove firearms from domestic abusers. Given that the leading cause of injury to women are men, & women are most likely to be killed by men, this is absolutely the correct ruling.

I've been thinking about Louisiana mandating the 10 Commandments in every public school under threat of withholding critical funding schools need to survive, and the hard truth is this is classic abusive mentality.

I don’t know how to get Democrats in power to understand that embracing Republican policies won’t flip Republican voters. Whether it’s on bloated defense spending, police militarization, gutting social services, or restriction immigration—you cannot out racist elected Republicans.

On May 7 I wrote, "NBC & NYT have documented 200+ occasions the Israeli Army ordered Palestinian civilians to move to “safe zones”—only to bomb those exact locations hours later with 2000 pound bombs. What assurance can Palestinians have that this forced movement to more concentrated parts of Rafah is not another such cruel & illegal ploy to maximize harm upon & death of Palestinians?"
On May 27 Israel bombed a safe zone in Rafah, killing 45 more civilians.
