@nprofile…t4qe Apologies for the belated follow-up! There's been two issues I have been passively tracking the past two or so years related to AMD integrated graphics. I had to think about this when I saw your question come by.
One was often triggered by (but not specific to) video playback, and the other is related to the automatic performance level adjusting that it does. Does any of what's being discussed here sound similar/related to what you're experiencing? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1974

If you, like me, are incredibly excited by this wonderful news, know that —at least for now— you can disable all this #Copilot crap by visiting https://github.com/settings/copilot and switching all the options to Disabled/Blocked. Perhaps especially the on-by-default "Allow GitHub to use my data for product improvements" one.

@nprofile…hujc hi~! 👋 Outcast (1999, though there are both a remaster and remake too) might be worth a look, as is my personal (though not everyone's!) favorite Omikron: The Nomad Soul (1999). GTA San Andreas (2004) might be a bit of an unusual suggestion, but the world truly felt huge and varied to me, with lots of places to explore (likewise in slightly different ways for GTA4 and 5). Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was lots of fun for me, even though I personally don't care for the rest of the series

They list a "satellite office" in Philadelphia on their careers page, and on their "Security basics" page under physical location security they list their main servers being located in Philadelphia, with a secondary site in St. Louis (ref: https://www.fastmail.help/hc/en-us/articles/1500000280221-How-Fastmail-provides-a-secure-service#physicalsecurity)
So, even though they're based in (and advertise themselves as being) Australia(n), all data is 100% US-hosted. This.. is most unfortunate. I don't quite understand why they went this way.

@nprofile…gm3w I've been a happy customer of #Fastmail (they're on Mastodon, too: @nprofile…w0mv) since January 2018, and can comfortably recommend them if you're looking for a solid email host.
They're based in #Australia, and have full support for #IMAP, #CalDAV, #CardDAV, as-well as #JMAP if your tool(s) supports that. I like that they only do email and do it well. No ever-expanding product suite of tools I don't really need, nor any confusion on who the customer is. Nice and straight-forward :).

It's the little things.. I found an 180-degree USBC adapter plug thingamabob to go with an 180-degree mini-HDMI to HDMI plug I had previously found. Much nicer looking compared to having cables poke out all the way like they normally would.

@nprofile…pvmf Right, it does feel like a live chat service really doesn't seem suitable for the more "support"-like environment you might want to create alongside a project. I honestly feel like Discourse or so would be a more suitable choice if GitHub issues/discussions alone aren't enough.
I know that Discourse has it's own challenges and is rather bloated, especially on lower-end devices, but I'm not sure if Discord would necessarily be better in that regard. At least it's not a walled garden.

Every time I find an open source or other kind of community project that has their official forum on #Discord, I cry a little 😢.
I know bulletin boards have gone out of style (sadly), but is this really the best/easiest choice? #Matrix is a thing too, after all. Are Discord's spam/moderation tools simply better or otherwise easier to work with? Or is this just one of those self-fulfilling "because everyone is on Discord, we should be too" type things?

It took me several months to finally get around to this, but I'm happy that I was finally able to tick this one off of my ever-increasing todo list; a #TashPad for use with my #Macintosh #ColorClassic!
I had ordered two of these as kits from the original creator back when a group buy was available, so I didn't actually make any of this. I just soldered things together for these.
Seems to work very nicely with #Flashback.

Last week for one of the poodle's walks I brought my camera along to make a few autumn trees photos for my wife, she's currently at home with an ankle in a cast so felt sad she was missing out on the season.
This ~600 year old Ginko tree is always impressively beautiful, but last week it was especially so, it must've been its "peek" autumn leaves time as it has lost over half of them now.
