oh I agree I don't search them out but you can find them. However, there seems to be some perverse joy, taken by many to slag any and everything off.

Do *love a contract reading. So many written by people who have no clue what you will be doing for the company nor how inappropriate many of the clauses are (if not actually illegal).

This week I have been mostly frustrated by the public EV charging infrastructure and astonishingly poor ADAS.
I round out the week being absolutely petrified by what I read on LinkedIn from "thought leaders" and those actually working in the industry, when discussing software defined vehicles. They haven't a clue and will kill so many people as a result.

New car registrations up 2.4% year on year. That's almost a rounding error. Have to go back to 2012 for a comparable month. Yes, there's been two years of growth but the stating point was incredibly low.
Fleet is now 60% of the market, with Private plummeting another 11% (less than 40% year to date). The industry has to be panicking.
EVs ⬆️ 18.8%, hybrids ⬆️ 31.4%, PHEVs ⬆️ 12.4%, petrol ⬇️ 5.9% and diesel ⬇️ 21.9%.
Ford had an appalling month. -30%!
Simple reason, COST OF LIVING CRISIS!

Ah, the hot takes for July's UK new car registrations have started.
Apparently, hybrid and plug-in hybrids are now "electric" cars, therefore someone can shout "look, look, 40% of new registrations are electric" when in fact [checks notes] 18.8% was electric. Is just one example.
I really hate how every month I have to look at and analyse the figures and have to see the lies and misinformation being spread by the same groups that demand it be made illegal for misinformation AGAINST EVs.
