I think of animals differently than most people.
I remember my ex freaking out when her python didn't catch a mouse, and it got under the water dish.
I was like, relax, pythons can sense heat in the dark. The second the mouse comes out, it's fucked. That snake hasn't eaten in 2 weeks, that mouse will not get away.
She was worried the mouse would bite the snake.
I don't understand why that's a concern.
I was much more worried about the snake hunting the cat.

The social saftey net is completely dead for everyone who isn't old. And the boomers and gen x fucked everything up. In very broad terms with exceptions: They don't care about us. So why should we care about them?
I likewise feel for your situation. But it won't get better without a drastic shift in the way things are run. There are always going to be people not getting what they need if we don't have something big happen. But I want everyone to have enough. And that's impossible with the current status quo.
I don't have any hope for my future or the future of the next generations to come without a very major change in this country. Voting 3rd party is working towards it. But a revolution is probably going to happen soon. Its a long standing historical pattern where wealth inequality and desperation spark conflict.

I have SSI. Disabled from birth. It's not enough for rent much less food. And homeless Disabled only get $400-600. I can make as much panhandling.

Products? Again, this doesn't affect me. I don't have money to buy anything.
Knowledge circulates in public libraries just fine.
I'm still waiting to hear about something that matters to poor people.

None of those things you are saying are good have an effect on me or anyone I know. Trade agreements, military alliances, roads, and student debt don't effect us. We couldn't afford stocks, cars, or college. We don't care what happens in far away places because we don't have time for that. We are busy surviving.
And I am already living in a violent, miserable country. There would be no measurable difference in my life. But there would be hope that we could build a better world from the rubble of the old one. But as things stand, there is no hope for the poor in this country. We will just have to seize the means of survival unless something happens soon to measurably positively impact our lives.
