Yeah the one we had partially cut down was very dead. We had the tree people check out the walnut tree. They said it's in good shape. It'll cost thousands to take that one down. It's big.

I hope they take it down soon. It's sad to lose trees for the shade & other benefits they provide. But when they are a danger to property they need to go. We have a huge walnut tree in our front yard. So far it's in good shape.

That's awful. We have a lot of trees by us too. I'm terrified of the high winds. One hit our house a few years ago. We had to get the roof patched. And part of the rest of the tree cut down that was leaning our way. The rest of the tree is in the neighbors yard. He's a renter & his landlord wouldn't foot half the cost to get the rest of the tree down.

I just read that Hurricane Hillary may hit California. The first one they've had in 84 years. I'm terrified of hurricanes & the destruction & displacement of people they cause.
