@npub1hzy…mrau I've had the same situation. I take the photo first, then one on my phone, show them the image and explain what I'm seeing. Pointing out details that others never realise are there sometimes really surprises people. Last instance that happened (an empty room in an old Berlin bar,) the owner actually asked for a copy to be sent to him so he could get a print of it!
I obliged happily.

Been a rough 9 days for me. Currently recovering from an op, then an infection. The meds given for it were awful. Hopefully ok now.
To cheer myself up, I'm back in Budapest next week.

Currently in a hospital ward waiting for a long awaited operation.
Had nothing to eat for 26 hours and no water for over 8 hours.
Groan.
I'll be ready for one of these soon!

VIW (Very Important Window).
The last original Checkpoint Charlie hut which was on the crossing point between East & West Berlin during the Cold War, on the junction of Friedrichstr. & Zimmerstr. West Berlin.
It was manned by the US, British & French forces.
Now found at the Allied Museum in Dahlem, Berlin (a recommended visit!).
Taken May 2018.
