Ritchie Creek, a tributary of the San Diego River, falls down some 400 feet at Mildred Falls, which makes it the highest waterfall in San Diego County (when it runs, which only happens after enough winter rains). Photographed in March 2011... obviously with #WaterfallWednesday in mind. 😉

Trying to write an article and some dude is parked outside and is letting his Nissan v8 truck idle. Extremely irritating & destroying my concentration — just so that he can sit inside his vehicle, run the AC (it's 75F ffs) and read some shit on his phone. I went outside, told him to turn it off & just roll down his window. He wouldn't even believe that I was working inside (?!?) & couldn't comprehend that I was complaining.
These are the people we're supposed to educate about climate change. 🙄

Another day, another surprised Windows user who realizes that his computer has been "infected" with OneDrive during an OS update, and that Microsoft has now snatched the contents of their user profile and stored them in the cloud. (including the "Pictures" folder with the Lightroom catalog of course, which is just completely bonkers.)
But apparently, Microsoft thinks that Windows isn't awful enough already, and just keeps the self-owns coming.

Pretty nifty that Adobe managed to integrate the "generative remove" into Lightroom's non-destructive editing.
Not sure how it's done on the technical side but I'm guessing the patch's pixels are stored locally.
