I think people are becoming smarter about digital communications. Last night at a party I photographed:
- 7 women asked me to email them pictures
- 2 asked the friend to forward the picture in email when 1 got it from me.
- 1 initially wanted email, but the video was too large so we resorted to Instagram even though we both knew it crapifies the video.
- 2 used their phones to take a picture of their picture on my screen

That "Reacher" show is so good! No goofy super hero CGI. Very well written story. No subscription-style watch-time pumping. And so far each season follows a well written book that includes an absolutely satisfying ending. No cliffhangers or "stay-tuned" teasers for sequels. I love it!

News sources need to start using ActivityPub on their websites more and then they'll be follow-able from Mastodon or any other Fediverse account. Flipboard has already done it, and any site using Wordpress can install the ActivityPub plug-in now. Fedi clients could also add RSS feed support, though those wouldn't be comment-capable.

Meta social apps are showing me ads for things I visited related websites on. I have to figure out how they're getting that data so I can block it! Is it the websites looking at Meta cookies? Did I use Google Chrome and that captured the data to share with Meta's ad profile on me?
