I found some way more important stuff that nobody talks about...
It has stored my geo location (down to the town) and what game I booted... With timestamp "2015-12-23T11:21:43Z"...
Neither of them are really a secret but while everyone is making a fuss about how Discord using AI to guess age and gender, nobody as much as talks about it having stored your hometown and such from 9 years ago.

Had to do 800 in repairs because the seller hid the fact it was in a (albeit minor) collision so some parts were bent...
But even after 2 years of owning and a bunch of upgrades and tuning it's less than 10K total ownership (incl. Fuel, roadtax and insurance). :|

@npub1wc2…4sk7 I mean, 200hp is quite a lot.
As long as it has a decent displacement (rather than being downsized with a turbo as you see a lot nowadays), you can very easily put that in a truck and have a solid pull still, especially if combined with a properly geared gearbox.
And well... To be fair... How often do people *actually* put _that_ much in a truck that they need so much power?
More often than not, it's just a daily-driver.
Tho indeed, Muricans fat, can't fit in sensible cars.

@npub1ysu…2jyl I think it really depends on the use-case: "How dynamic must your site be?"
1 website I built for a friend ages ago is just HTML+CSS because it never really needs to change (at most he had to add a banner that he was closed during certain moments).
However, the website for a Discord server I was in was pretty dynamic and changed at least every few hours.
So for that side, slightly more complex stack (some simple vanilla JS + GraphQL + PHP) made sense.

@npub1ysu…2jyl Assuming that with "public funding" you mean like "government grants" (using tax money), I don't think it should be treated the same per se.
With crowdfunding, you choose what to fund yourself.
You give them money, they return you the promise of thing you fund for.
You could choose to not fund it if you wish to.
With a grant, it's chosen by someone else, so the "money source" should be allowed to know what their money is being used on and use it as they see fit, hence an open license.
