I document more of my notes, whereas before the information lived purely in my head! I've also let myself become more of a pantser after getting the majority of the information solid. As it's merely a framework to create within. Before I would agonize over a single plot point, now I just write and revise after the thing is done!

I just got Pop!_OS all configured, and then I discovered Bazzite as several Linux users have mentioned that distro. ROFL, I already feel the urge to jump to Bazzite!
However, my data plan cannot support the huge amount of downloads that would follow. I'll give Pop!_OS another month before deciding if making the jump to Bazzite is worth it.

Jumhaeg would analysis the spider to see if it was in his genetic repository for arachnids before deciding whether or not to absorb it for later replication.
Erebus would gently capture the wayward spider and return it to the outdoors because their home doesn't have good prey options.

I'm feeling so conflicted about the idea of installing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. It looks pretty, modern, and something I need in my life right now!
However, a lot of the programs I use are Windows-centric. I don't want to mess with Wine or finding alternatives (which is something I normally wouldn't mind doing). At least this version will be there when Microsoft inevitably buggers up and forces my hand once again.

@npub1k24…26zw Incorporating music into the cleaning routine helped as my brain is excited by the different genres every time. As this makes an entertaining book or game something that I can savor after cleaning but not a total distraction. (I really worked to alter my behavior to my benefit).
That kind of kicks off a cleaning frenzy because I'm just bebopping around listening to tunes while cleaning.

@npub1k24…26zw Yes, as destroying one's relationship with food causes more harm than good. The forbidden is far more tempting than that which is allowed. I learned over time this was the key. Nothing is forbidden and everything is permitted. It helped reshape my outlook. Now I just need to exercise more and my health will gradually improve.

This question makes me think because a lot of my antagonists are in forms which are hard to rate by human standards. There's a hot scoundrel who's quite fine for being 30,000 yrs. old.
He's built but has a slight layer of fat over his muscles, hairy, and classically handsome in terms of facial features.
I'd rate him a searing 8 out of 10. It's the whole being guilty of a lot of crimes that I deduct points for.

@npub16mz…hm5n That's so wild, I have a vague memory of this as I was on Android where the attitudes toward third party apps wasn't as hostile! Since third-party apps breathe life into a device, filling niches that even the OEM doesn't expect will be created.
Sadly, in recent years they've become a common method to launch malicious attacks on mobile devices by bad actors...Thankfully, it's gotten a bit easier to figure out the shite from quality third-party apps!

When the weather is nice (like 32 degrees Fahrenheit) I might break goblin mode to have a walk as even I get stir crazy. Have fun with these upcoming two months of goblin mode!

I deleted Instagram because it was useless for me, and Facebook is toxic at times. A lot of hate is being spread on that site and nothing is being done to quell it either. That alone helped me stay off as much as possible. Save for occasionally keeping up with my friends.

#Today I'm going to pick up my glasses...I got my bus pass activated, I know the approximate time that I need start walking to the bus stop, sunscreen for the walk home applied. I've picked out a metal music playlist on Tidal for my journey back home. Everything but my nerves are ready for this little journey.

Jumping Spiders can startle me, I find myself flinching every time one jumps. Usually it's away from me, rarely is it at me. They have a habit of spooking predators by jumping at them, as that's unexpected behavior for prey.
