The bombs that are raining down on our homes in Gaza City tonight are GBU-28s, crafted by the United States to destroy heavily fortified military bunkers. This world suffocates me. The endless charade of living just to survive chokes the life out of me. It feels like the weight of the world is lodged in my throat, and I can't spit it out. I force myself to keep up with every conversation and event, trying to stay connected to a world that has profoundly disappointed me. There is no place to return to, no place for us in this world.
