That's interesting. I started reading the novels almost as soon as I discovered the show, so I've always been overexposed to the written forms of all the proper nouns. I can't imagine them being spelled any other way.

But if everything is where *you* reflexively think it should be, the size of the font on the buttons becomes less important. Just shuffle stuff around until you're happy with it.

It's all about personal convenience. When Okuda thought up the LCARS system, the idea was that each user could completely customize their panels to their own personal preferences, and I love that we can do that with this, too. Wherever you instinctively think an app or a button should be, that's exactly where you should put it. I just put the stuff I most commonly use on the home screen and then squirrel away the stuff I only use occasionally on one of the side screens. It's great.

Exactly the same.
I did this a couple of years ago on a whim, but it's super easy and convenient and I love it. When I bought my new phone last month, the first thing I did was install Total Launcher and convert it to this.

Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel. Once I converted my phone to this, I got so used to it I can't imagine ever going back.
