Ugh - bras are so uncomfortable!! I haven’t worn one since 2015 and I do not miss it. The best part of my day used to be that moment I took the damn thing off.
I don’t care who thinks it’s “inappropriate“ or who “feels uncomfortable“ seeing my breasts underneath my shirt in a natural shape.
Be comfortable - life is too short to suffer for unrealistic, idealized breast shapes 😆

☝️I lived 12 miles from the nearest paved road - I had to travel along gravel and clay-packed roads to get home. Sometimes I had to wait a week or even two to leave the house.
My closest neighbor was just under a mile away. It was me and my Shai. The quiet was a presence. I really miss it.

It’s just after 9am right now and my body says: it’s too early. I would probably sleep until 10 or 11am most days if I could. That’s been true my whole life - which made getting to work at 8 or 9am brutal. It doesn’t matter if I get to sleep at 11pm (early) or 2am (usual).
Now I have a dog who insists on going out as soon as it gets light outside. It’s bearable in the winter but summer is awful - even though I go back to sleep.
I need at least 2 hours to feel ready for the day.

I thought I wanted to live off grid far from urban/suburban life. Then I found out what it’s really like. 😳
I like running water, hot showers and toilets. I like heat in the winter and fans or a/c in the summer.
We don’t need gold plated toilets or 5000 sq ft homes.
I know there are sustainable ways to live that don’t destroy the land and all the critters around us and allow us to be comfortable. All of us.

I am part of the first generation of Jews born in the US after World War II, after the holocaust. We were taught about it very young, perhaps too young, but the trauma to our elders was devastating.
Perhaps that’s why I have been watching my entire life as this rolls back around again and again. Humanity has not changed or learned enough … yet.
I have hope for the future - it is leavened with clear vision and spiced with salt and bitter herbs.

Trump is (soon to be was) the vehicle to take control of the federal government - he was never the actual end game, just a useful tool. As his cognition continues to decline, he’ll be more obviously the puppet and not the puppeteer.

yes - I think about how it would impact my mother and my daughter (fuck my sisters) and I don’t want my Sadie pup to have any more trauma in her life. It works to keep me far enough away from any brink.
Living for myself? That’s extricates me from the grace of being part of a web of relationships, no matter how tenuous at times. It’s not at all helpful.

I tend to go for take out so I am eating real food instead of popcorn and dried fruit.
