Has anyone else noticed an inordinate increase in attacks on social media toward Pierre Poilievre in Canada? They even got it trending last night.
I think the Liberals and NDP are finally running scared and are on the attack. 95% of recent posts are negative, all spouting some variation on the same theme.
Given that he polls incredibly high in the country, its suspicious that such a high percentage of posts are slanted negatively in the last few days.

Exactly.
Since I was 11 I've struggled with my weight. I knew something was wrong with what I was being told because I would do exactly what the government and the medical profession told me would make me healthy and all I got was fatter and sicker. I started starving myself to keep my weight down. I had all the hallmarks of an anorexic except for the actual weight loss.
I always assumed it was me that was wrong or different.
In my indoctrinated brain that was the only thing that made sense because I couldn't fathom how or why the experts could be so wrong.
Then, thankfully, I discovered Atkins (better, but still major issues due to processed food) finally discovering Keto and Paleo.
Now I'm whole foods only, no seed oils, no added sugars or processed foods and healthy amounts of sun exposure. I've never been healthier and happier.
It was only after I dug deep into the science that I saw the lies that were being told. I still didn't understand why the medical profession and governments would do that to their own populations but I understood that they were.
Then I discovered Bitcoin and the corrupting influences of fiat money.
Everything makes sense now.

Even though I strongly encouraged my friends to learn and understand Bitcoin after I got them to buy some, they didn't.
They didn't own a lot of bitcoin, but more than most will ever hope for.
Two out of three sold.
Then one of them went into debt by $100,000 for a car.
Sometimes, you can't save people from themselves.

First impressions are hard to change.
The first time a normie runs into Bitcoin, other than in passing, it is usually presented negatively.
That becomes their psychological anchor point for their beliefs about it.
They don't have the time or energy to dig deeper, so they use a heuristic or a shortcut, and that short cut is.... Bitcoin bad
It takes A LOT of evidence or trust to shift them from that anchor position.
I'm only in Bitcoin because my autist of a brother told me to research and buy it.
He researches things to death and is infrequently wrong, so I trusted his opinion and lump-summed in until I could get myself down the rabbit hole.
Funny enough, I'm further down than he is now.
But most people don't have this level of faith in another human being's opinion and so to them.... Bitcoin bad.
Take heart... It's not you.... Your just fighting thousands of years of evolution.

Trauma will continue to raise its ugly head throughout your life and frequently at unexpected or inconvenient moments. Over time the trauma does diminish, but very slowly and almost never entirely. It's not about whether you've worked through it or not it's more of a biological response frequently triggered by environmental stimuli. Eventually the receptors around the trauma slowly dull over time and you get triggered less often and less intensely. This can take many many years.
However, that doesn't help much for when you're struggling with it in the moment. At those times I have found leaning in is the answer. Acknowledge the feeling, invite it in and offer it tea, listen to what it has to say for awhile. Then after awhile, politely ask it to leave.
I speak from both personal experience and as a clinical counsellor.
May I ask if you've tried microdosing psilocybin? There is amazing research coming out regarding its effectiveness in regard to PTSD. Appears to help rewrite neural pathways that keep us stuck in cognitive and behavioral loops. At low dose it has all the medicinal qualities but none of the hallucinatory properties.
