You're absolutely right. The USPS is a federal service and not designed to make a profit. But the #Republicans have hamstrung it in such a way that it is forced to lose money to which the same Republicans cry that it's losing money and should be abolished.

This graph is incorrect. USPS reported a net loss of $6.5 billion on $56 billion in revenue.
I would not trust any of these numbers.
