Yesterday was a helluva wild ride.
Eye surgery was mildly terrifying, but went well.
Worst part: During the hour+ ride home, my eye COMPLETELY FOGGED OVER. I couldn't see a thing out of it.
Did I panic? Well, yes, yes I did. I called the surgery, they told me they'd ask the doctor, get back to me.
10 minutes later, got a call that that was normal, that it would clear. And it did.
But that was the longest 10 minutes of my life.
This week is about healing, then another procedure. Cheers! 😎

Made some great toffee cookies, threw some of the dough into the freezer about 5 months ago.

TIL US airport runway numbers are named for the direction in which they point:
- Take the runway number, multiply by 10
- That angle is the direction of the runway
So runway 9 points due east (90°) and runway 27 due west (270°).
The same physical runway will change numbers if they switch the direction of traffic.

Every modern Apple blockbuster has been relatively small and light, with close to zero moving parts:
- iPhone
- iPad
- AirPods
- Apple Watch
Relatively speaking, a home robot is massive, much more complex and fragile. Likely MUCH more expensive than the highest priced iPhone or even Vision Pro.
Such a beast would require a major commitment from the buyer, which means far fewer units sold.
Definitely a different, riskier lane for Apple.
