#Bitcoin is what will save humanity, will fix society and bring back the morality that people used to have.
Nowadays many people are trying to mislead you for their own benefits. Vitalik and his team are publicly lying about how ETH works and what is it about.
Something that you didn't probably now:
Vitalik renamed the pruned nodes to full nodes and the full nodes to archive nodes. He did that cause he knew that ETH could never be decentralized due to its blocksize and blocktime. He chose such parameters to show that ETH is fast and cheap for transactions and contracts. But, he sacrificed the decentralization.
The pruned nodes aka full nodes, don't store the data of the blocks, they only store 128 blocks worth of data. If they need some data from older blocks, they would have to get the data from an archive node and trust it for what it's saying about account balances.
The whole ETH network is run by 3600 pruned nodes aka full nodes, 2200 of them run on Amazon web services. But in the event of a hard fork, these nodes are useless as they are passive listeners to the archive nodes.
What is interesting, is that you cannot find any data about how many archive nodes run the whole network, probably the number is less than 100-200 archive nodes.
The archive node has a cost of 1k$ + 200$ per year, obviously the users don't have the ability to run a full node aka archive node, so Vitalik renamed the pruned ones to full node.
If the archive nodes change the monetary policy of the software they run, all the other pruned aka full nodes will be forced to obey as they are passive listeners to the network.
So, in the event of a hard fork where Vitalik and his team want to rug the chain...
