@npub1slp…4xfq How old? I saw kids around 8yo with a VTech "smartwatch" in the train. They were taking pictures with it and played some small games. They seemed to enjoy it. I'm not sure what the quality was nor if this is what you are looking for

To learn the language, I'm doing the #adventofcode in #rust #rustlang . There is a lot of good in the language but it's so painful to learn. The simplest things are so hard, and the documentation is not very helpful.
Unless you have the time to read the full book, you are in for a lot of struggle.
That shows me even more why #kotlin got so many things right.

@npub1slp…4xfq I have switched to a 9/10 schedule at work, just to take 1 day off every two weeks where I can do this kind of things. It's great for my mental health. Although, I sometimes switched that day off to another day when daycare/school is closed so it doesn't feel I do it often enough 😅

@npub1slp…4xfq Every time I need to store some simple key/value pairs, I glance at Datastore. Then, I see how overly complex it is, all the hoops I have to jump into to make it work, and I go back to SharedPreferences. I know it's less efficient but it usually solves my problem, it has drawbacks but I can live with them
