I intended to use this account for cybersec posts in English. Turns out I am more into some kind of leftist circle jerk in Norwegian.

I am often angry about how women in tech and cyber are pushed out of any role where they might be exposed to code, and into a role of project manager or secretary for the team. I don't type with my tits, and you will regret putting me as project lead.

I think you misread me. That's not what I meant to say. It might be a language or culture issue here, since I am half typing half cooking dinner and it's a second language. But me saying that all worked is skilled is based on me working most of my life in those unskilled work type jobs, and I really don't appericiate being told that I am nerding out on the word vs criticising exploitation, and not arguing that "those people" (aka me) deserve fair treatment.

in that case, a lot of jobs are so called unskilled. Because most people need training after starting a new job

many low paid workers are also immigrants (at least where I am, in Norway) and they often don't know their rights. And that makes them easier to exploit. Many of them are also on a work visa and there have been many cases where they believe that if they find a different job they have to leave or apply again for visa, so they are trapped

the concept of unskilled labour is BS. It's a concept made to justify exploitation of people. No work is unskilled. All work requires skills

at syklister oppfører seg dårlig er jo faktisk ikke en grunn til å ikke regulere biler mer enn vi gjør i dag. Det er også noe med systemkritikk her, biler er faktisk prioritert og har vært det lenge, det er derfor sykkelkulturen er så dårlig.
