Seven hooded blankets done for my nieces and nephews and son! I used the free hooded blanket pattern from Patterns for Pirates. Fabric was all from Joann's: flannels and minky.

Another reason for me to quit another Google service: I needed to find our Google fi account number for my husband's work. The only way to do this is to cancel your service. The cancelation request isn't supposed to really happen, but now my husband has no cell service, and I tried to sign him up for his own Google fi, but his Google pay locked him out. If Google owns every app, then you're SOL when something goes wrong (and support can't do anything 😑). #tech #google #leavegoogle

@nprofile…kyj5 Our local elections went so much better than the presidential election! The last few years I have made an effort to research the local partisan and non-partisan elections very carefully. I used to just randomly pick city council members! 😬

Positive thing today - I went shopping for the supplies for the puppy I'm picking up on Sunday. The task for this evening and tomorrow is tidying and puppy proofing the main floor. We still can't agree on a name. My husband's top choice is Turnip, which is pretty adorable. #puppy #puppiesofmastadon #dogs #dogsofmastodon #somethingpositive

@npub1tj8…z2ed I have been thinking about this. I've always been a bit of a prepper (not in a conservative gun hoarding doomsday way). I ordered a bunch of shelf stable food to have on hand, and I'm building more garden beds, thinking of getting chickens and/or ducks next spring. My library has a seed library, and I'll plan to start more from seed next year, and save seeds to avoid buying them in the future. More permaculture, closed loop systems.

@npub1lrv…tth9 What I desperately want is an EV or hybrid station wagon that could pull my little 900 lb trailer. I don't need a giant truck or SUV. Then I can replace our two vehicles (one is ev, one is an old minivan that can tow) with just one!
