I wasted over an hour last year, making sure nothing went to OneDrive after MS made it the default. Especially bad at my rural home because of bandwidth limitations
I really, really wasted it because I forget what the last straw was, in December, but it was enough for me to switch to Linux.

I asked Google Assistant on my phone how to remove it, because it kept popping up when I accidentally pressed too long on the home button.
It said that I couldn't, but I could disable it.
I did, but now it also pops up every time I connect Bluetooth, asking me to enable it.
How exactly is it disabled if it watches my phone and pops up? Could Google be dishonest?
