@npub178r…qekt Point Reno is recognized as the highest natural high point in DC, there is a small USGS benchmark in the field nearby. Which is confusing because it's below the area in the picture.

@npub1fs3…wylg we were recently there for breakfast and it was good. Not mind-blowing but solid. Didn't get much time in ABQ but we did catch lunch at New Mexico Beef Jerky, which we thought was better.

Lots of thoughts and feelings right now. As a Submariner I've watched this whole frenzy kinda knowing where it'd end up. I sympathize with the families of those who died, but also those died aren't heroes or tragic victims. They freely chose to go to a very dangerous place, in a vessel clearly lacking standard Submarine safety equipment to get a glimpse of a gravesite. There was no need for them to be there. They weren't doing science - they were voyeurs.
