@npub1qw9…r0g7 My rule is critical feedback first, then close if there's a couple months with no activity or the author agrees the approach is critically flawed. Make sure an issue exists and the PR is linked there. It's just as easy to check a closed PR for reference as it is an open abandoned one.
Long PR backlogs are really discouraging and make it way harder to review things effectively.

Wish that there was better IDE support for #shaders in #rustlang for #bevy?
Take a look at this project by Runi: a preliminary language server for WGSL. IMO this is one of the biggest barriers in making graphics programming genuinely approachable: I'd love to see this catch on!

Wow, neat! Nannou, a popular #creativecoding framework for #rust is being rewritten to use #bevy. Seems like a natural fit (very hackable rendering and logic), but it's still flattering.
Of course, I found out because they uncovered a new bug that we introduced during the 0.13 cycle. Well, let's see if we can't fix that up, either before release or in a point release. I'm glad they reported it!

Alright, with the #bevy 0.12 release tentatively slated for Saturday (🤔), let's get cracking on another round of #opensource #rust #gamedev PR review.

I'm going to chip in and do my part in the review: I'm hoping to get at least a couple of these merged right now and leave feedback on a dozen or so of them. 9 of them are controversial, and 10 more are rendering, but that leaves a few that should be comfortable for me.
