If I had a kid I definitely wouldn't let them play videogames that require credentials. Kids aren't supposed to have an online present so why on Earth would a kid have an email address? If the game doesn't allow local multiplayer then they better start playing Tetris or some other crap.
Also these games are riddled with microtransactions, why do freakin' Minecraft and Roblox offer microtransactions!? That's predatory behavior on kids.

Is there any easy 16-bit beat 'em up I can play with little dude (my 11yo nephew) out there? We used to play Turtles In Time and he loved it but he was always obliterated before me, LOL.
TBF we used to play in normal difficulty, not even I was able to finish the game in normal difficulty back then, I can do it now if I enter the Konami code and get some extra lifes beforehand tho 😅

Almost got ran over by a car this morning OMW to the gym. A mfer was going to turn right, but instead of using the rightmost lane as somebody with at least 3 neurons would do he decided to use the one next to it — because it was free, and he surely was gonna cure cancer or something with the extra 30 seconds —, made a wide turn and there I was just trying to cross the street.
Nothing like trying to start the day doing something positive just to be reminded you're living in a fuckin' jungle.
