I am grateful that when I see other Americans I know almost half of them feel just like I do and we should become better friends.
I'm encouraged that whiteness will soon reap its own whirlwind, as #Trump voters discover their skin color and family pedigrees get them nothing but more fundraising texts while the dollar crashes and banks go insolvent, the government ceases to function, health care subsidies end and individual home ownership becomes impossible in red states.
I still would like to move to #Scotland, please. Now. Before Jan 6. I am actually going to talk to my parents about it. It's possible I think.

Almost all the people with #Trump flags here last two elections have not got them up now. Last holdouts down the road with a bunch of Trump flags took them all down last week. They've still got their "I don't understand taxes" snake flag but all the orange man swag is gone. Wonder what's up...

Today I did peach cobbler, and peeling peaches made me think of my grandmother. She was complaining, over my shoulder, "Ahh, look at all that good fruit left on the peel, you're wasting too much!" I can still smell her kitchen, so well-vented and clean it smelled more like warm metal than food. Except candy, when she made candy the whole place up to the attic smelled like cocoa.

I can't unpack after trips.
