I think it needs a new name (and possibly a new icon) to not confuse it with the original app, and it should be good for a first release.

#App idea: an app to search for #LaTeX symbols. Example: if the user does not know how to display the intersection symbol ∩, the app could display the Latex code (\cap) needed to display it.
Maybe #GNOME's excellent Characters app could be forked?

@npub1d76…897u I would love to help with a core app, but if I recall correctly Disks is written in C, which I don't know (I'm planning on learning it soon).
I don't think they would appreciate someone just rewriting their app in rust :)

People are complaining about long #Rust build times, but I just had a simple Android app, written in #kotlin take 21 minutes, just to fail because the gradle version was wrong…
