@npub1u76…qmwm There’s also a Facebook Group but it can be a bit confusing in there, as there is another version of RNV2 with its own group, and many people cross post into both. The Edition version is the one to go for IMO. I’ve tested both.

After upgrading my Raspberry Pi I’m now receiving composite #MeteorM23 images for the first time. These were captured from two Meteor M2 3 passes this morning.

I’m still unsure about the wisdom of storm naming. Yes it creates awareness of severe #weather but it can also create media hysteria. Yesterday I had a full day of 10 clients and all but 4 of those have cancelled, and countless schools have closed. This must be happening all over the country and one has to wonder what the economic impact of storm naming is.

Yesterday’s 25.2°C was the 8th October date record for my station (records from 2009), but behind my monthly records for October set in 2011: 27.4°C on the 1st and 26.5°C on the 2nd.
