Friday finds Vlad having a morning counselling session with Pasha the Parrot, here they are over Kostroma but they aren't stopping anywhere. Vlad is telling Pasha about the hard life he has and Pasha is listening patiently and nonjudgmentally. Parrots are excellent listeners

Tuesday and Vlad has escaped from the Kremlin to take Fyodor the Frog for some exercise around Moscow. You'd think a giant tree frog would impact the buildings a bit more but he really doesn't. Vlad finds it really relaxing and it beats all the adulting he has to do today

Thursday and Vlad has buggered off to Primorsky Krai with Kiril the Kite. The Kremlin is doing his nut in and Mrs Vlad has become convinced that he's shagging Zakharova, he isn't but there's no convincing a woman sometimes. She threw a frying pan of eggs at him earlier and he's done with all of it. He's currently contemplating whether he can be asked to go back or whether he's going to start a new life as a UFO hunter on Lake Baikal

Tuesday and whilst Sergey is doing all the hard work in South Africa, Vlad is in the Kirov region of Russia chasing butterflies with Leonid the Labradoodle. Vlad was trying to train him for war because Leonid is a very large labradoodle, but he's also a very soppy and friendly one so is totally useless in any kind of battle. He also gets very easily distracted by butterflies and will chase them across half of Russian before anyone catches him
