Welp, got word today that I'm out of work so I guess it's time to start hunting again. If anyone has a lead on a development job feel free to send it my way.
Probably just going to relax the rest of this week and then start the search. Thankfully I've been preparing, plus I'm getting 2 months severance, so I'm not in crisis mode just yet.
Will I keep working in software development or look into something new? Who knows?

I think my issue with programming lately has been that I have learned everything I wanted to learn about it. It doesn't feel interesting any more.
It isn't the programming itself that I enjoyed, it was learning new things about it. Now that I have (seemingly) learned all I wanted to know, I've moved on to learning other things.

@npub18lj…80hq mine would have to be Iced Earth. Great music, but their founder was also a founding member of the Oath Keepers and was arrested for participating in Jan 6.
I no longer listen to them.

@npub1jpp…u59l I don't mind xml, but I normally go for json. Especially if it's not intended to be edited by a human.
Though that could be partially because json is in the python stdlib and a single function call.
In practice I don't care much about the config format.
