I have a two monitor setup and I really, honestly don't need the second monitor for anything. BUT if I take it down, the stand isn't as stable.
So.... HAM CLOCK!

First mini-project complete: got Ham Clock running.
Now I need to poke at settings and configurations and all that to make it more...something?

Got out to the park today and interacted with the public (What?! Where did these chatty people come from?!).
I also experimented with something called SSB which is used for "Phone". It involves microphones!

So how about all of us POTA aficionados agree to do more with 30-meters?
Now that I have an antenna that can get me there, I’m going to make a point of hunting that band.

Got a quick activation in this morning. I needed it! 2 weeks with no #POTA is bad for the brain. Just feels good to be outside and on the air.

Know this: by resisting learning Morse Code and the CW mode, you are actively depriving yourself of this wide world of crazy little QRP radios.
This is likely good for your hobby fund, but wow! There are some neat, weird little rigs out there if you want to go QRP and can work CW.

Hey. So as major platforms start to fall apart, don't necessarily look for the next big one.
Dust off your blog.
Go back to establishing web-rings.
RSS feeds. Remember those?
This is the way to share good stuff. You don't need a centralized platform for that.
As hams, we should know that.
