That the information is not a 2 way street should be a big clue for ppl; perhaps life in China or Russia isn't quite the "party" those countries present to the world. But their propaganda plays on the insecurities & disappointments of the ppl they target. Unhappy ppl are always looking for the greener grass on the other side of the fence. They are easy to persuade. Ppl who change jobs for an extra $1/hour often learn quickly that the pay increase doesn't makeup for bad mgmt they find

I've never seen it. I think what they're doing is the same thing they did in 2016 - flooding social media, mostly Twitter, with bots, misinformation & propaganda. I don't have a Twitter or FB account so I don't see it unless someone shares it here.
Don't quote me, but it was my understanding that one of the results of the Mueller investigation was indictments against RT & several of the people involved. Of course, they can't actually arrest anyone because they're in Russia.

My kids are fortunate. My daughter is frugal, but not to a fault so she and her now ex-husband planned for the up front expense, and were able to pay for the panels.
My son (not Tristan's dad) was gifted the panels from his father-in-law. Quite the gift. 🙂
Now when you drive around the city, you see many homes with panels on the roof. It took some time, but folks finally realized if they could avoid scams, the panels are the way to go.

The #temperature in #Vegas is showing no sign of dropping anytime soon.
The high today is expected to be over 100º again.
There is no late summer, early fall if you live in this city.
For the first time since I moved into my home 8 years ago, my electric bill has been over $100 for 3 consecutive months.
For contrast, both my daughter & one of my sons has #solar power for their home(s) each 2 1/2 - 3 times larger than mine, and pay less than $30/month.
But, I'm fortunate to have a home.

I had never heard of him prior to his nomination. By chance, I drove through OKC a week before the bombing and followed the developments in the case because some of my relatives lived near there at the time.
McVeigh was found within hours & didn't resist. McNIchols turned himself in. That case should have set a precedent for domestic terrorism, yet it didn't. We still don't have a statute for it.
I was shocked at the propaganda around him during his nomination. But, oh well

That's a good comparison. You've seen enough of my comments to get an idea how I feel about him. From the beginning of his confirmation campaign, I became irritated. He was pushed as this great legal mind who "took down" the OKC bomber, when, in fact, he was in an office and only appeared one or two times. A different DOJ prosecutor managed the case. I wanted to scream at people to actually read the history about the case.

These are the things that slip past voters who aren't fully engaged in the politics of their state. The DNC on a national level had better be spending some money to buy ads to educate voters about the tricks the GOP are using to undermine their will and their votes. Plus the wording on ballot initiatives is confusing. Voters already have a tough time understanding if a 'yes' or 'no' vote represents what their intent is.

Because most people understand how emotional kids can be and understand that kids internalize all criticism, the public has, for the most part, refrained from "attacking" the children of political candidates and the kids of those in office. Why are so few people talking about electronic price shelf tags & the business of grocery stores changing prices w/o notice to customers who are actively shopping in their stores.
With this feature, already in use in some Walmart locations, a shopper can select an item & place it in their cart only to learn at check out the price increased while they were shopping.

I'd like a reporter to ask JD #Vance what he & his wife use for contraception. He can't say 'nothing' because he doesn't have a shit ton of kids. She's still of childbearing age at 38. She should be able to produce a baby every year.
If Vance refuses to answer & says it's personal, then ask him why he thinks he has the right to control the personal decisions of other men & women.

After reading a little more about Shapiro and Kelly, I don't really like either man. Kelly has aligned with Sinema and I don't agree with Shapiro's stance on Israel and Netanyahu. As much as I would love it, I don't think she will choose Pete. Walz can't run again and seems to be the best fit, if such a thing exists. We'll see.

My pleasure. Last week I had to take my dog to the vet and it cost $571 so I'm poor for a little while, but I may have other projects in the future and I really want a quilt. I just can't afford it right now. Once I get this one on some sort of frame I will share it with others who may want something similar. I wish I could do more right now.

I've never been to the #Bronx. I've only been to NYC twice & that was in 1981 & 1982 so I don't know for sure if palm trees grow there or not. I have my doubts.
There's not a MAGA hat in sight. When has that happened at a #Trump event?
The hand of the guy on the right seems to have too many fingers, but again, I'm not certain.
