I have nothing against gradients on larger UI elements (buttons or FAB), it definitely looks cool. Heck, I even wear a gradient on my pfp 😂 But on smaller elements, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t pass basic contrast accessibility req (especially in dark mode). I think the previous monochrome variants worked better.

Been busy lately, and can’t find the time to open Damus for more than 5 minutes at the time. I miss it, but the biggest barrier to engaging back is the way notes are displayed in the timeline. As you scroll, you can’t figure out what the conversations are about. You need to tap every post to understand the context. I’m not 100% off of fiat either. I get my paycheck in fiat, pay for my family expenses and mortgage in fiat, but what I meant is I stopped caring about accumulating it. My end goal isn’t about how much fiat or fiat-denominated assets I can hoard, since the goal posts keep moving, it’s pointless. I decided to just use it as a medium of exchange because of the convenience. What really matters to me is how much BTC I can stack until it’s equally convenient to spend it.
