Installing my first distro, Mint, on a W XP machine and seeing how well it worked. Then later installing Arch and learning more in two weeks about Linux than I had in two years before. And finally getting the compiz cube up and running! 😁

Installed a second SSD yesterday, so ready to install Linux on that for a dualboot system (until I'm ready to ditch the Windows side entirely). Has anyone had any personal experience using the following distros recently, and would you recommend them (esp. for personal laptop use)?

YMMV, but Google's suite has been my replacement for Microsoft's. I'm not happy about that, but until something better comes along, I still have to put bread on the table.
