Boy it sucks that so many of those tools you could use to find your twitter follows on mastodon are broken now.
Every once in a while I log back in to my twitter account and run through my follows to see if there’s any newcomers.
There’s a really good tool for BSKY that uses your twitter follows page to scrape for BSKY links.
I have to manually search for mastodon ones though

Which is the reason why decentralized stuff like Masto excites me so much. Even if it’s not financially profitable, people will keep running instances and most of the people I follow here are very likely to stick around

Now that the bridge has been up and running for a while and more and more people I care about are using it, I gotta say it’s pretty magic
It’s really nifty to be interoperable. I feel less separated from people I see IRL. Less compartmentalized

Monster Hunter Now is a little better only because it’s a little more of a game, but it’s equally as annoying in its drip-feed type content loop.
I feel like I’d play games on my phone if there were any actually good games I could play one-handed while I’m in a work call

I tried getting back in to Pokémon go and man FUCK this game, hahaha. Progression is so time/locale locked and that annoys me
My brain doesn’t work with “always be chipping away at it” type games. I need to be able to pick up a game for the first time in years and make meaningful progression

Cool BSKY bridge user tip:
BSKY doesn’t actually require that you @ mention the user for it to show up as a reply to their post. A lot of apps will automatically inject the @‘s of the users you’re replying to but you can remove those if you want a few extra characters to play with
