What if everyone in the world changed their thermostat 1 degree closer to the outside air temperature?
Here's some old data for the U.S.:
"If everyone in the U.S. changed their thermostat by 1°F, it would reduce annual carbon emissions by 7.2 teragrams. 7.2 teragrams is the equivalent of the amount of carbon released by 1.4 million people in a year."
