Over the last 30 years or so, Vim has saved me thousands of hours. There was a learning curve, but those 15 hours (or however long it was) paid off over the long term.

In today's episode of "10 PRINT on ALL THE THINGS," we're doing it on the seven-segments of the KIM-1 (PAL-II Clone here).
Since you can't do / and \ on a seven-segment, I've come up with this. It's 200 bytes of machine code.

I forgot I picked this up a few months ago. The RP2350 XL has 48 usable GPIO pins that could interface with just about any 8-bit computer with a little level shifting.

Ever liked a breadboard build so much that you mounted it in a wood box with a glass cover so you could put it on your office wall? Yeah, me too!
This is my adjustable clock and two LFSRs for an article some months ago. An 8-bit and a 23-bit (exactly the same wiring as the Commodore 64 random number generator).

In today's episode of "Stupid Races Between Old Computery Things," we got my ported N-Queens solver on an Atari 800XL stock BASIC vs. that same computer with Turbo BASIC XL. No modifications at all; the BASIC replacement on a cartridge is more than twice as fast. (this is 20x speed)

Traded a Coco2 for my first TI-99/4A "untested." I don't have direct experience with TI hardware. Assumed my experience meant I would be able to fix whatever might be wrong. It works just fine, which is slightly disappointing because I love restoring old computery things.
