I think of the DCA folks more like a downside put. If we 5x I will definitely rotate out of some of my etf positions in my brokerage. Won’t do anything with my cold storage dca strategy, just keep trucking.

Many geo engineering ideas are not at all out of the reach of a nation state. I would guess China will just enact one of the hypothetical interventions one day, maybe 20 years from now when changing climates start causing serious social and political upheaval. I think of it like fiat money or the boiling frog problem, not really a problem until suddenly it is. Also not really the type of problem humans are good at solving proactively. Insurance markets are the first canary in the coal mine IMO. First consequential negative externality.

CORZ contract with Corweave is extremely lucrative, IREN’s limited pilot program has a two year payback on hardware. Big tech might just buy some of the miners out completely to get their locations and power contracts. Just my 2 cents.

To be fair we changed a lot of what we were doing to stop acid rain and the shrinking of the ozone layer. Those two didn’t fix themselves.
