@npub1pv5…zq0l I've had episodes of completely unexplained upper abdominal pain pretty much throughout my life. Comes and goes and never have found a cause, I'm sorry to say. I did finally get a diagnosis of eosinophilic esophagitis (many years after my kid was diagnosed with it), so whatever aggravates that probably plays into it. Hope for you it's just gall bladder and therefore fixable!

@npub1f0q…932v No, that Valhalla is very close to New York City. In fact the city's water supply headquarters is there. It'd be about 3 hours drive south of the park.

The village of Raquette Lake, in the central #Adirondacks of #NewYorkState, as seen from out on the lake in a misty morning.
It always amazes me how little people from outside NY tend to know about the Adirondack Park – like that it's bigger than Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon and the Everglades combined.

@npub1zwf…umln And I'm so glad for you! We've often said if we had it to do over again, would literally just elope. Of the dozen or so people who were at our wedding, only one is really invited to our 40th anniversary party.

@npub1zwf…umln Powerful. Thanks for sharing. While not facing the same challenges you did, we also had to fight to do it our way, with doubting/unsupportive family, on almost no budget, and we have no regrets. 40 years ago now.

@npub18lj…80hq Criterion Channel is currently presenting some Susan Seidelman movies. While "Desperately Seeking Susan" is probably the most famous, we just watched her earlier "Smithereens" and found it quite captivating. They also have a huge collection by Agnes Varda, where I'd start with "Cleo from 5 to 7." She also did some great documentary work.
